This purpose of this position is to strengthen the educational pipeline and ensure coordinated educational development and transitions between Minnesota State College Southeast and K-12 partners. This position will take a lead role in the Colleges efforts to bridge the career and college aspirations of all learner segments and to reach out and engage a network of Minnesota State College Southeast stakeholders in that process. This includes school district and pre-collegiate programs universities and other colleges program accreditation entities advisory committees community-based organizations workforce programs and Perkins consortia partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS
Direct and lead National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Standards (NACEP) efforts for the College to ensure college maintains accreditation following the requirements and standards set forth by NACEP.
This position is accountable for establishing the processes and procedures to ensure the College is meeting NACEP standards in the concurrent enrollment program. The incumbent will manage the tracking and maintenance of documents and records necessary to support the NACEP accreditation requirements and secure ongoing renewal for the college. The incumbent will be the lead on all NACEP reaccreditation efforts. The incumbent will also maintain the membership in the Minnesota affiliate of NACEP MNCEP and participate actively in their conferences professional development activities and will coordinate and track these professional development offerings to support accreditation efforts. They will be expected to maintain high internal and external communication standards for effective coordination with High School Principals and Instructors and will communicate pertinent items with Student Services faculty and related services and entities including admissions Registrars Office faculty Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system office and other stakeholders. They work effectively with Campus HR to support and adhere to HLC guidelines when reviewing high school instructor credentials in order to process for acceptance or denial by administration and notify instructors of the decision and continue to monitor their progress of meeting HLC credentialing standards.
Manage administer and direct Perkins V (Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21stCentury Act) requirements.
This position will serve as the director of the Perkins V postsecondary program for the entire Southeast Perkins Consortium. They will be responsible for managing and directing workflow to the Perkins Assistant to meet college objectives. The incumbent will manage records according to retention guidelines to ensure compliance with all requirements in order to accurately prepare and submit the annual plan following established processes procedures and guidelines established by the Minnesota Department of Education. They will facilitate the biannual Campus Local Needs Assessment and be responsible for the interpretation of Perkins V policies and guidelines. The incumbent has sole responsibility for the development and management of the Perkins Consortium postsecondary budget approximately $200000 a year. They will be accountable for the preparation and submission of statistical reports records and files by incorporating the State Standards Industry Standards and/or other occupational competencies and measures. The position will need to maintain high internal and external communication standards and promote cooperation for effective facilitation. Must attend required system professional development as well as State and Federal level meetings relative to Perkins V to serve as our college representation. Will work with the Minnesota Department of Education-designated coordinator for Perkins at the Secondary level with a focus on enhancing collaborative efforts between secondary and particularly they will focus on developing joint programming training and ongoing development of a high school to college to career pathway.
Administer and promote the Post-Secondary Educational Option (PSEO) concurrent and articulated offerings to strengthen and maintain alignment between secondary schools and Minnesota State College Southeast.
This position will be responsible for identifying PSEO objectives developing processes procedures and steps to meet College goals for the PSEO program and will lead our efforts to strengthen and grow the Colleges PSEO concurrent and articulated relationships. The incumbent will manage recruiting and outreach efforts with secondary students considering enrollment in these programs. They will work with Admissions Representatives to promote PSEO options as well as traditional enrollment options. They will independently register orient and advise secondary students participating in PSEO credits and concurrent enrollment courses both general education and technical education courses. The incumbent will research identify develop and propose innovations in appropriate career fields to support initiatives related to emerging occupations workforce needs and trends clusters and pathways and will develop accountability measures for such programs including measures of student success. They will provide ongoing consultation and technical assistance to Minnesota State College Southeast programs to improve processes ensure compliance and report outcomes of these programs. They will lead collaborative efforts with area high schools and instructors to manage Articulation Agreements between Minnesota State College Southeast and these secondary partners.
Salary Range: $58130.00-$85232.00 (based on experience and qualifications)

Work Shift: MondayFriday with standard shifts from 7:30 AM4:00 PM or 8:00 AM4:30 PM. Some flexibility in start and end times may be available depending on the needs of the department.
