The Education Consultant Supervisor also known as the Director of Access Strategies and Workforce Initiatives is a leadership position that expands and improves early childhood education. This role involves strategically planning and implementing programs to increase access to high-quality childcare for infants toddlers and Pre-K students. The director also focuses on strengthening the early childhood workforce through professional development recruitment and retention strategies.
Nine years of experience in education teaching or administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience plus six years of experience in education teaching or administrative services; OR
A bachelors degree plus six years of experience in education teaching or administrative services; OR
An advanced degree plus five years of experience in education teaching or administrative services.

Job Duties:
Appointment Type:Probational Promotional or Job Appointment.The person hired for this position is expected to regularly report to the Baton Rouge office.Current permanent classified state employees may be required to accept a probationary appointment if selected.
Career Progression: This position does not participate in a Career Progression Group.
Work Schedule:Work hours are Monday - Friday. Work hours will be determined.
Compensation:This position has a Special Entrance Rate (SER) of $33.65 hourly $2692.31 biweekly. The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
**Note regarding the advertised pay range:The Education Consultant series have a special entrance rate that is above the minimum hire rate for these positions.The maximum amounts listed are the maximum salary amounts a person can make over their career and notthe maximum amount we are allowed to pay a new hire.How To Apply:
