Job Description

  • Pivotal role coordinating the delivery of a range of educational programs

The Smith Family is a national childrens education charity that works with children and young people experiencing poverty to overcome their circumstances and reach their full potential by providing holistic long-term support for their education.

About the role

We are seeking a Programs Coordinator to coordinate the delivery of the Learning for Life suite of programs including the development and maintenance of key school partnerships. Reporting to the Team Leader Learning for Life and working alongside dedicated energised and passionate team members you will:

  • Establish and maintain Partner School relationships and monitor progress planning and implementation and feedback on programs and activities
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships with Schools Industry Partners and local businesses
  • Continually monitor program delivery and ensure the database has accurate and up to date information
  • Plan and forecast program delivery to ensure all targets are met at a local and state level
  • Advocate for and answering enquiries relating to The Smith Family educational programs

About you

As well as passion for community you will bring the following:

  • Demonstrated experience in planning and coordinating programs / projects
  • Proven experience in establishing and maintaining relevant partnerships
  • Demonstrated experience in administration
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated capability to manage and plan own work to achieve identified goals within time constraint
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience working collaboratively and effectively in a team environment
  • A current drivers licence
