Job Description
Qualified Candidates:
Board eligible or board certified in Surgical Critical Care
Must have or be able to obtain active SC medical license prior to start
Employed position to join our existing team of surgeons and APPs in an HCA owned practice
Call requirements: there is a rotating weekly call schedule rotating between trauma emergency general surgery and surgical ICU. When on a service week there will be a 24 hour call expectation from Friday to Sunday covered by the 3 surgeons currently on service each covering a different 24 hour call day. Off service attendings rotate to cover 12 hour night call from Monday to Thursday.
All the surgeons participate in accordance with the ACGME in teaching of surgical residents and rotating residents from other specialties.
