About the role:
Develop and execute training programs for Boston Scientifics transseptal access technologies to support product education and skills training for Health Care Professionals (HCPs).Identify and engage HCPs through collaborative partnerships to enhance educational initiatives to advance the appropriate application of therapies that provide life enhancing outcomes and to advise BSC on matters of strategic importance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Program development oversight and execution define agenda content physician faculty and appropriate training models to assess progress toward program objectives for Boston Scientifics Access Solutions (Transseptal Access) approach scope and methodology of training to maximize impact by determining target audience time location requirements and other applicable factors.
• Develop relationships with HCPs and field personnel through scheduled meetings and other interactions.
• Conduct post-program evaluations of content and faculty remain aware of all changes that may impact training requirements and implement changes/improvements to training protocols and materials accordingly.
• Identify key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the industry expert speakers and well-known academicians who can deliver the defined curriculum as well as provide technical and clinical insight with real-world applications.
• Engage identified HCPs and KOLs to demonstrate the clinical outcome and benefits of company products technologies and therapies to exchange clinical safety and comparative-effectiveness information to explore clinical areas of need and to discuss corporate initiatives.
• Develop training and education tools needed to effectively meet learning objectives and support successful procedural skill transference (e.g. simulations models visualizations gaming etc.).
• Assist with shaping and evolving the physician training curriculum for Boston Scientifics Access Solutions portfolio by assessing and analyzing HCP requirements and training needsby aligning organizational objectives and initiatives and by obtaining educational content through participation in cross-functional teams physician and industry presentations conventions forums and meetings.
• Effectively execute activities of major significance to the organization and represent the organizational unit as prime internal and external contact on operations or contracts.
• Coordinate with Sales Training to support teams ability to meet BSC employee training requirements as needed.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience in medical device industry or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in clinical and pre-clinical environment (cath lab EP lab or OR) within a clinical case support or education-focused customer-facing roleExperience developing and maintaining relationships with physician customers field representatives and hospital staff
• Travel up to 50% of each month

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience designing coordinating and executing peer-to-peer physician training and education is preferred
• Experience and familiarity with electrophysiology and/or interventional cardiology procedures is strongly preferred
• Experience with development of educational content (proficiency with Articulate or digital/e-learning content experience a plus)Experience creating and/or delivering systematic training
• Program/project management and organization skills are critical

• Candidate must be able to think strategically with appetite for innovation and continuous learning

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) see --will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training pertinent education including licensure and certifications among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly) non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g. any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt non-sales roles may also include variable compensation i.e. annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
