We have an opening for a Legal Counsel specialized in Privacy Data and AI. This position is based in Krakow Poland and reports directly to the Managing Director Compliance based in Hoofddorp the Netherlands.

Are you ready to:

• provide advice to team members within Legal and other functions on a wide variety of Privacy Data and AI matters
• support our business partners including Sales Marketing Information Security and IT on a variety of projects and initiatives
• help negotiate and advise on a broad spectrum of commercial contracts
• help manage and respond to personal data requests and incidents
• communicate with regulators on various privacy matters including data breaches
• draft and maintain privacy notices and privacy program documentation
• build and develop effective relationships with colleagues from different functions and to influence optimal business outcomes
• collaborate on cross-border privacy initiatives and provide legal advice to international teams on privacy matters

The ideal candidate will:

• be a team player and is eager to join a world-class Compliance team passionate about logistics and the FedEx brand
• up to 3 years ofrelevant Privacy working experience preferably at both a reputable international law firm and in-house in logistics or a large multinational corporate environment
• the FedEx Legal Skillset:Accuracy & Attention to Detail; Influencing & Persuasion Skills; Analytical Skills; Problem Solving Skills; Written & Verbal Communication Skills.
• Have strong knowledge and willingness to specialize on GDPR e-Privacy Directive and other relevant global privacy frameworks

Qualifications:

• - Law degree from a reputable (European or US) university
• - Fluent in English and Polish (any other European languages are a plus)
• - Eligible to work in Poland on a permanent basis
