Job Description

Assistant Leasing Agent

Location: Remote
Compensation:

  • Latin America: $1400 $1500 USD/month
  • Philippines: $1100 - $1400 USD/month

Industry: Residential Property Management
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM PST (U.S. Pacific Time)


About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Leasing Agent to support leasing operations and resident relations for a growing property management team. This role will work closely with the Leasing Coordinator to ensure vacant units are marketed effectively prospects are engaged and converted and move-ins are handled smoothly.

The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills a customer-first approach and prior experience in property leasing or management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the U.S. property management industry while working remotely. This position is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented organized and passionate about delivering excellent customer service while supporting all aspects of property leasing and administration.


Key Responsibilities

Leasing & Marketing

  • Prepare leasing templates and list vacant units for lease in AppFolio.
  • Keep online listings updated across all marketing platforms.
  • Assist with marketing units to multiple digital channels.
  • Screen applications and conduct background checks including calling references and verifying details.
  • Request additional information from applicants as needed to complete applications.
  • Draft leases and send for digital signatures via DocuSign.
  • Assist with coordinating move-ins showings and scheduling tours with onsite managers.
  • Monitor and respond to prospect inquiries on Facebook Marketplace and the CRM database.
  • Respond promptly to new leads with the goal of scheduling tours and encouraging applications.

Resident Liaison

  • Send emails to site managers to follow up on upcoming move-ins and move-outs.
  • Assist with obtaining and organizing photos and videos of rent-ready apartments.
  • Process official letters and communications to tenants as necessary.

Business Administration

  • Provide general administrative support as assigned by the Leasing Coordinator.
  • Manage document workflows including sending leases and forms for electronic signature.
  • Maintain consistent communication with team members to ensure smooth operations.


Qualifications

  • 1 2 years of experience in property management leasing or related fields (apartment leasing experience strongly preferred).
  • Prior experience with residential property management software such as AppFolio (required).
  • Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally and positively with tenants prospects and team members.
  • Proficient in using online platforms (CRM social media listing sites).
  • Customer-service mindset with a proactive can-do attitude.
  • Comfortable working U.S. business hours (PST).
