Assembler Manufacturing & Production
Full-Time Hands-On Assembly Role
Position Overview
Were looking for an Assembler to join our production this role youll be responsible for fitting assembling and inspecting parts and components according to blueprints and specifications. This position requires attention to detail mechanical ability and teamwork to ensure high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret blueprints drawings and assembly instructions
Verify parts and assemblies meet specified dimensions and quality standards
Install hardware fittings and assemblies such as bushings thermocouples and fasteners
Identify required molds tools and equipment per work order or purchase order instructions
Set up and verify vacuum systems through leak testing and pressure checks
Drill tap and prepare clearance holes as needed
Participate in workplace organization and continuous improvement (6S)
Communicate effectively with leads and supervisors regarding progress or issues
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills & Experience
2 years of hands-on assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
Skilled in using manual inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Familiarity with the metric system
Must meet U.S. Export Control compliance requirements (U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R.)
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and blueprint fractions/decimals
Exposure to general manufacturing processes such as welding machining or fastening
Forklift and overhead crane operating experience (certifications a plus)
Supervisory Scope
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
Exposure to moving mechanical parts airborne particles vibration and moderate noise
Occasional contact with mild chemicals
May require weekend or off-shift work to meet production needs
Safety eyewear required; safety shoes strongly recommended
Occasional local travel between sites may be necessary
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Capable of bending kneeling climbing and reaching
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
Good vision (close distance color depth perception) is required
