Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join a dynamic team in a health department setting with the potential for permanent placement. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatric care be bilingual in English and Spanish and possess the necessary certifications to provide excellent dental care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform expanded duties as licensed by the board for certified dental assistants.
- Assist in dental treatments including polishing applying fluoride and placing temporary restorations.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques and maintain accurate patient records using EagleSoft software.
- Ensure proper operatory setup and adhere to sterilization protocols for dental instruments.
- Maintain radiographic certification and perform necessary radiographic procedures.
