Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior-level Transition / Change Management Consultant with a strong background in Helpdesk / IT Service Desk transitions to support a high-visibility project in the entertainment industry. The ideal candidate will have proven experience overseeing and managing the transition of helpdesk operations from one service provider to another ensuring a seamless and disruption-free changeover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end transition of Helpdesk services from an incumbent vendor to a new service provider.
- Develop and execute comprehensive transition plans timelines and risk mitigation strategies.
- Act as the liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors to coordinate all transition-related activities.
- Ensure knowledge transfer documentation and SLA adherence during the transition period.
- Monitor and report on progress resolving issues and escalations as needed.
- Provide change management support including stakeholder communications training coordination and organizational readiness assessments.
- Ensure minimal impact to end-users and business continuity throughout the transition.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Helpdesk service transitions must have led at least one full transition project.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes service delivery and helpdesk best practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management communication and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in fast-paced environments.
- Prior experience working in or supporting enterprise-level IT operations ideally in the entertainment or media domain.
