Job Description
Job Title: Data Integration (Texas gov exp required)
Location: Austin TX (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed technical analysis by reviewing user requirements and creating design documents.
- Develop test and implement code in compliance with TEA standards industry best practices and customer requirements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including design documents process flows object/data models project plans environment diagrams and test plans.
- Collaborate with the project team to provide effort estimates review architecture and design triage and resolve defects and report status on work assignments.
- Conduct testing to ensure solutions align with specified requirements.
- Support sprint/release activities contribute to Agile ceremonies and ensure timely delivery of tasks.
- Identify technical specifications and data integration requirements for ECIDS implementation.
- Define next steps for system design methodologies for ECIDS establishment and build a sustainable data governance framework.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in creating ETL processes for transporting and aggregating large data sets across systems.
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server or Oracle including stored procedures PL/SQL Dynamic SQL and exception handling.
- Hands-on experience with object-oriented frameworks such Core or Java.
- Proficiency in XML JSON API testing JavaScript and JQuery.
- Background in mid-to-large scale enterprise-level SDLC projects.
- Familiarity with working on projects for Texas state agencies.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform including Power BI and PowerApps.
- Exposure to project management and collaboration tools such as Jira Tempo BitBucket and Confluence.
- Understanding of Scrum/Agile methodologies.
