Job Description
Job Title: Business Data Analyst (Data Workflows Epics/User Stories Dashboards 13 yrs)
Location: AustinTx (Hybrid - Local to Austin only)(Within 50-mile radius).
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Mandatory Qualifications:- Hands-on experience as a Business Data Analyst in the Information Technology industry with strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to analyze complex data-driven business problems and recommend actionable solutions.
- Experience designing and optimizing data workflows and data management processes using modeling or mapping tools.
- Skilled in writing Epics and User Stories including acceptance criteria to effectively communicate functional and non-functional requirements to development and QA teams.
- Experience creating and maintaining data-related documentation including data dictionaries business requirement documents and data mapping specifications.
- Experience designing and presenting visual data models and dashboards to communicate trends performance and project timelines.
- Demonstrated ability to lead data-focused meetings and interviews document outcomes and drive resolution of data-related issues.
- Bachelors degree in Data Science Computer Science Information Systems Business Analytics or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple data projects or assignments concurrently.
- Analyze and document business and technical requirements for data-focused projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify design and implement data-driven solutions.
- Develop data workflows models and documentation to support project objectives.
- Write clear and concise Epics User Stories and acceptance criteria to guide development and testing teams.
- Create dashboards visualizations and reports to present insights project status and performance metrics.
- Facilitate and lead meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements resolve issues and ensure alignment on data-related initiatives.
- Maintain and update business and technical documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency across data systems.
