Job Title: Registered Nurse Stepdown
Location: Dallas TX 75246
Job Type: Permanent - Full-Time
Shifts: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM (Days) and 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (Nights)
Hours Per Week: 36
Pay Range: $32/hr to $53/hr

As a Registered Nurse in the Thoracic Surgery & Pulmonary Transplant Stepdown Unit you will work with high-acuity patients undergoing advanced surgical procedures in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Patient Population Includes:
-
Minimally invasive video-assisted thoracoscopic (VATS) surgeries
-
Lung transplantation
-
Esophagectomy and hernia repair
-
ENT abdominal orthopedic surgeries requiring cardiac monitoring
Patient Ratios: 1:3 or 1:4 based on acuity
Work with a multidisciplinary team including:

Registered Nurses
-
Patient Care Techs
-
Physical & Respiratory Therapists
-
Physicians NPs and PAs

Requirements:

Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program

Active RN License (Texas or compact)

BLS Certification (AHA required within 30 days of hire)
