Urgent Hiring: Physical Therapist $70/hr Alturas CA
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team in Alturas CA (96101). This is a 13-week contract with excellent pay and a supportive environment. If youre a Physical Therapist who enjoys making a real difference in patients lives this is the role for you.
Position Details
- Role: Physical Therapist
- Location: Alturas CA
- Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
- Schedule: 5x8hr shifts (40 hrs/week)
- Shift: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $70/hr
- Specialty Type: Rehabilitation Therapy
Workload & Environment
As a Physical Therapist youll manage a reasonable caseload of 8 9 patients per day ensuring quality care without double-booking.
- Evaluations: 1 hour each
- Follow-ups: 45 minutes each
- No Weekends enjoy your work-life balance
Key Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist will:
- Perform evaluations treatments and patient education across all age groups.
- Develop and adjust individualized care plans.
- Collaborate closely with physicians nurses and rehab staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with healthcare standards.
- Support and mentor junior staff fostering a positive care environment.
- Represent the profession of Physical Therapy with professionalism empathy and skill.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current California Physical Therapist license.
- Experience: 3 years of experience as a Physical Therapist preferred.
- Certifications: Active BLS/BCLS required.
Knowledge & Skills
The ideal Physical Therapist will have:
- Strong understanding of physical therapy modalities anatomy and physiology.
- Knowledge of disease processes and rehabilitation techniques.
- Competence in infection control sterile techniques and patient safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients.
- Ability to use documentation tools and physical therapy equipment safely and effectively.
