Job Description
TheCommon Area Attendanthelps with the day-to-day operations of thehotel and ensures a clean and sanitary environment. He or she performs various cleaning tasks using the necessary equipment and Common Area Attendant isresponsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel lobby hallways and bathrooms as well as the hotels restaurant.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma/GED
- Prior relevant experience as well asfamiliarity with basic cleaning supplies and equipment
- He or she must be committed to the customers reliable to his or her co-workers and be a self-motivated organized and detailed individual.
Duties and Responsibilities
-- General janitorial duties including sweeping mopping operating a floor scrubber machine cleaning windows railings counter tops bathrooms and all public areas.
-- Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times
-- Stay current on all emergency procedures and acts accordingly
-- Wear proper uniform and name tag at all times in accordance with the standards of appearance
-- Attend department meetings
-- Adhere to all work rules procedures and policies established by the company including but not limited to those contained in theEmployee Handbook
-- Perform all other duties as assigned by management
