Infrastructure & Cloud Services are at the forefront of everything from Cloud to Networking Data Centres to virtual servers/servers (Windows and Linux) as well as desktops Licensing and mobile phones! Every piece of infrastructure at Head Office in the stores the warehouses for the website or the contact centre are supported by this area. Central services such as Microsoft Azure GSuite and GCP file services Citrix Active Directory (and much more) are all provided and supported here.

The Modern Workplace team (I&C Services Operations Support) is a small dedicated group of engineers at the forefront of shaping the end-user computing experience at Next. You will be instrumental in supporting new ways of working by managing a diverse range of modern workplace technologies. Your responsibilities will span across Microsoft 365 including Intune Manager for device management and Entra ID for identity and access management as well as Jamf for our iOS and macOS fleet. You will handle 2nd and 3rd line escalations from our support teams working in a hybrid environment of on-premise Active Directory and cloud platforms. This role is a blend of business-as-usual support and exciting project work such as the migration to Windows 11 and the transition of our telephone system to a cloud-based solution. As our platforms evolve you will be expected to be proactive continuously developing your skills and contributing to the improvement of our solutions to provide the best possible user experience.
The Infrastructure & Cloud Services Operations Support team operates a weekly out of hours callout rota supporting the business. Overtime and flexibility of shift changes are expected as many systems can only be installed or changed outside of normal business hours. Extended cover will be required to cover peak periods.
