Embedded Software Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Embedded Software Engineer with a strong focus on Bluetooth technologies to join our R&D department in Ballerup. This is where technologically advanced Jabra communication and music products are born and you will be at the heart of our innovation.

You will become a key member of our embedded software team a group of 20 talented engineers who are excited to welcome you. Together we are responsible for the entire development lifecyclespecification design implementation and testingfor GNs market-leading enterprise audio devices. Our primary focus is on cutting-edge Bluetooth BLE and LE Audio solutions that connect the world.

Your core responsibility will be to develop and maintain the software platforms that power our current and future products making life sound better for millions through devices like the Jabra Evolve2 Buds and the Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex.

Working in a dynamic and agile setup you will:

• Design implement and maintain robust embedded software with a primary focus on Bluetooth Classic BLE and LE Audio stacks.

• Collaborate closely with embedded software colleagues as well as our application software and software testing teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

• Drive innovation in our wireless audio platforms by tackling complex technical challenges and contributing to a shared codebase.

• Actively participate in knowledge sharing brainstorming sessions and code reviews to elevate the entire teams performance.

To succeed in this role we believe you have:

A genuine passion for embedded systems and wireless technology. You are a natural collaborator who thrives in a team-oriented environment. To excel in this position you should bring:

• 3-5 years of professional experience in embedded software development.

• Strong practical experience with Bluetooth wireless technologies. Hands-on expertise in both Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is highly preferred. Familiarity with LE Audio is a significant advantage.

• Strong proficiency in C programming for resource-constrained embedded systems. You write clean modular and efficient code.

• Solid experience with embedded operating systems (RTOS) and microcontrollers.

• Experience navigating and contributing to large complex codebases and SDKs is a key advantage.

• Fluent written and spoken English skills as this is our official company language.
