Job Description
The candidate must meet the following requirements:
Database Admin
- 7 years hands-on experience with major database platforms (SQL Server PostgreSQL) in an AWS cloud environment.
- Proficiency in SQL database tuning and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with backup/recovery procedures high availability configurations and disaster recovery planning.
- Knowledge of database monitoring tools and performance analysis.
- Familiarity with scheduling and job management in database environments.
- Understanding of database security principles encryption methods and access control frameworks.
- FISMA compliance experience or familiarity with federal security standards.
- Knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools and remediation processes.
- Experience with audit preparation and security documentation.
- Experience supporting application development teams and troubleshooting database issues.
- Background in change management processes and documentation standards.
- Incident response experience with vendor coordination capabilities.
