POSITION TITLE:
Anticipated Armed Security Officer

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent
NJ Drivers License
Retired Law Enforcement or Security Officer with 20 or more years of experience and retired in good standing with his/her agency.
All necessary licensure and authority to carry a firearm under New Jersey law
Proven ability to work within the school environment in cooperation with school administration
Criminal history background check and fitness for duty evaluation

REPORTS TO: Director of Security

JOB GOAL:Maintain safe school environment for school community including but not limited to students and staff

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Ten-month work year consistent with annual school calendar
Non-bargaining-unit position: salary and all other terms and conditions of employment established by the Board of Education
