Description

We are seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to join our Risk & Broking team in Norway. We welcome applicants at various seniority levels and the scope of responsibilities will be tailored to the successful candidates experience. The best candidate will define how senior this role will be. If the hire is more senior additional team management responsibilities will apply.

The Senior Claims Specialist will be a key member of client teams in Large & Complex and contribute to claims work for P&C Mid-Market clients. They will collaborate closely with Client Executives / LRM and client teams to manage claims support sales and drive growth in WTW Norways revenues and portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in RFPs and prospect work
  • Deliver timely high-quality client outcomes
  • Promote claims services and FACC offerings during client meetings
  • Contribute to internal claims forums and process improvements
  • Build collaboration across teams and offices
  • Help develop value propositions aligned with WTWs ambition
  • Manage and prioritize workload using project management principles

Additional Team Management Responsibilities (for more senior hires)

  • Stabilize and grow the team with a 3-year plan
  • Foster a One-Willis culture and cross-team collaboration
  • Identify new opportunities to expand services
  • Monitor client feedback (NPS) to ensure service excellence

Sales Responsibilities

  • Plan and prospect for Claims offerings
  • Ensure Claims services feature prominently in RFP submissions
  • Follow up with prospects and prepare quotations
  • Drive industry and segment-specific initiatives to develop the customer offering and attract new clients and partners
  • Initiate and ensure the team develops a plan/strategy for prospects (value propositions)

Ongoing Service

  • Provide excellent client experience & outcome
  • Support team in claims management
  • Plan & structure claims management (claims manuals processes etc.)

KPIs / Measurements

  • Client satisfaction on-time delivery
  • Growth % for Claims Services
  • Time recording Bizcore
  • Developmonths strategy for development (offerings & deliverables)
  • Retention of colleagues and team development (if applicable)
  • Usage of Willis systems for document storage

General Measurement Methods

  • Well-balanced pipeline and sales activities
  • Meet profitability targets in force at any given time
  • Activity targets (number of paid projects)
  • Compliance and other legal frameworks
  • WTW values
  • Annual Cycle and People Management (if applicable)


Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in the industry
  • Broad network in the industry
  • Relevant Formal education e.g. post-secondary education or university education.
  • Theoretical knowledge that can be reported through certificates or equivalent.
  • Ability to articulate strategy to clients
  • Successful practical experience in a similar role at least 3 years.
