You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe University of Iowa Strategic Sourcing Purchasing Agent will provide support to the Purchasing Department by managing and monitoring purchase contracts ensuring compliance with contract terms. The Purchasing Agent/Buyer will issue competitive solicitations including Request for Quotes Request for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications as needed. This position will ensure compliance with Federal and State Laws Regents and University policies and procedures and the Universitys Strategic plan plus departmental and divisional mission statements. This position provides support campus-wide and Joint Regent projects leads professional service agreement contracting as well as support on an as needed basis for UIHC by serving on the strategic sourcing team and engaging in more complex contract and purchasing solutions
This position is eligible for hybrid work within Iowa and will require a work arrangement form to be completed upon the start of your employment. Per policy work arrangements will be reviewed annually and must comply with theremote work program and related policiesandemployee travel policy when working at a remote location.
Duties to Include:
Location: PCO and UIHC
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
Pay: $46943 to commensurate
