Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Leading Asia Pacific Accounting Team responsible to manage accounting function for the Asia Pacific Countries. Handling Asia Pacific region accounting Statutory Account Preparation Audits Sox & Internal Controls.

  • Drive trainings for Asia Pacific accounting team associates. Succession planning and backups planning. Keep them motivated and drive job rotations for learning and development.

  • Ensure timely closings of financial books without any quality issues. Ensure accurate data for statutory compliances (Direct & Indirect taxes Withholding Tax Goods & Services Tax and Return on Business Investment).

  • Act as the key interface with Shared Service teams and Group Accounting team to ensure efficient and timely coordination of Monthly close processes and submission of Monthly results to the Pharmalex Group Headquarter.

  • Ensure continuous improvement in accounting processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness in accounting function.

  • Collaborate with different Business Functions Human Resources Sales Project Owners Country Leadership in the Asia Pacific region for revenue and expenses recognition and accounting.

  • Support Senior Director finance to achieve financial goals for Asia Pacific countries like performance as per budgets pricings sales gross profit and operating profit margins. Analyse actual numbers with planned numbers and support to identify reasons for differences.

  • Treasury & Forex transactions management and compliance with transfer pricing laws.

  • Monitor direct and Opex costs for APAC Entities and ensure optimization of current business processes to achieve efficiencies and reduce operational costs.

  • Drive Microsoft D365 ERP finance and accounting process improvements in Asia Pacific Region Entities.

  • Implementation of Industry best practices like automation of processes digitalization of accounting processes. Design standardized & Internal controls compliant business processes.

Experience:

  • Chartered Accountant with minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience.

  • Professional experience of working with large medium multinational organisation in global environment. Have worked with Service or Consulting organisation.

  • Good understanding of accounting concepts and accounting standards.

  • Practical experience in managing teams stationed in different countries.

  • Practical experience in managing global stakeholders and collaborating with associates stationed in other countries.

  • Good business understanding and acumen.

  • Experience in delivering accounting processes of Asia Pacific region entities.

  • Experience on ERP Processes SAP Oracle or Microsoft D365 Finance Module is a big plus.

  • Practical exposure working on Power BI/Tableau data presentation softwares.

  • Ability to collaborate with global teams and stakeholders. Collaboration with multiple stakeholders in a global matrix environment.

  • Exposure in Digitalization of process ERP implementations BOT implementations integration of functions.

  • Leadership skills.
