The Program Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of projects that are typically multi- departmental in addition this position provides assistance with managing complex initiatives/programs that may be strategic in scope. The Program Manager consults with internal and external partners to clarify and define project requirements. This position focuses on establishing timelines and due dates tracking progress managing information among stakeholders and resolving problems and issues that arise.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develops and manages (in the case of managing a project) or assists in developing and managing (in the case of working with a team member on a project/program) the plan surrounding project/program engagements. Managing may include but is not limited to interdependencies dependencies communications scope changes risks and issues.
2. Sets realistic and practical goals for projects and develops appropriate strategies for achieving those goals.
3. Documents communications risks and issues thoroughly and professionally.
4. Measures project performance to identify areas for improvement.
5. Provides project/program status reporting to applicable audiences and tailors reporting to fit the audience.
6. Utilizes best practices techniques and standards throughout project execution.
7. Assists in developing workflow processes and procedures for the department.
***Pay Range for this role is - $85000 - $110000
EDUCATION:
1. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE:
1. 2 years of project management experience or a field of focus during education.
