Tewkesbury Borough Council are seeking a Section 106 Monitoring Officerwho is committedto delivering an efficienteffective and customer focused service to help to support its planning andenvironmental efforts.
The ideal candidate will have experience in planningobligations excellent data management skills and strong knowledge of S106legislation. Youll be proactive detail-oriented and confident working withmultiple stakeholders.
This role is crucial in ensuring that financialcontributions from development projects align with local planning policies and nationalregulations. Financial obligations through planning ensure site specificmitigation of the impacts of new development for the benefit of residentsbusinesses and the local community.
The ideal candidate will have:
Knowledge of Section 106 agreements theirpurpose and mechanisms within the UK planning system.
Strong data management and analytical skillswith experience in using databases Excel or specialized software for trackingand reporting.
Ability to interpret legal and technicaldocuments related to planning and environmental policy.
Attention to detail and accuracy in datamanagement.
Evidence of working successfully in partnershipacross different sectors building and maintaining good working relationships.
The ability to work effectively to meetchallenging deadlines and competing & changing priorities.
Afull UK driving licence
