As a member of the nursing team with Corewell Health providing top-notch patient care is paramount. Youll be responsible for the care of our patients according to their individual plans unit routines and hospital policies. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse youll be a vital part of our team making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Provides direct patient care under the direction of the Unit Manager or Licensed Nurse consistent with policies and procedures of the unit.
Responsible for direct day-to-day care of assigned residents/patients including dressing bathing transporting and feeding.
Documents care provided as directed in a manner consistent with guidelines.
Maintains patients environment/work area/equipment and communicates any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate department/unit personnel.
Complete and maintain required number of CNA educational hours.
Participation in select unit quality monitoring activities under the direction of the Unit Manager or Nurse Leader.
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Completion of State of Michigan approved CNA Training Course
CRT-Nursing Assistant - Michigan Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs Bureau of Community and Health Systems Michigan Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs Bureau of Community and Health Systems 90 days
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days or
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days
