Job Description
Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring German Language Teachers to provide in-person lessons to our clients.
Job Information:
- Ref: 189328
- Student: 1 adult
- Location: 15000 Haggerty Road Plymouth MI 48170
- Availability: Monday and Friday mornings (students assistant will arrange scheduling)
- Preferred start date: ASAP
- Lesson Frequency: 2 times per week
- Lesson Duration: 1 hour per session
- Current language level: A2
- Languages spoken: English German Italian
- Time zone: Eastern Time (ET)
Students goals (summary):
The student is relocating to Germany in October 2025 and needs to improve fluency and confidence in spoken German for both professional and daily life contexts. Key priorities include:
Finance and work-related vocabulary
Everyday communication and dialogue
Building fluency and confidence in speaking
Expanding vocabulary for relocation needs
Developing listening comprehension for professional and social settings
Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored interactive and practical German lessons
Focus on speaking and dialogue practice relevant to finance and everyday life
Incorporate real-life scenarios to prepare for relocation to Germany
Track progress and adjust lessons as needed
Qualifications:
Native or near-native proficiency in German
Certificate or degree in language teaching education linguistics or related field
Minimum of two years of teaching experience with adults
Ability to create engaging goal-oriented lessons
