Job Type: Non-Exempt PRN
Schedule: 2x/week M-F 8:00 am 4:30 pm

Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital offers compassionate high-quality inpatient and outpatient mental health and co-occurring treatment for teens adults and seniors. We provide a full-range of evidence-based medical and clinical services in a state-of-the-art healing include inpatient mental health and co-occurring treatment Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).
How youll contribute
The Pharmacist is responsible for coordinating and providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients within a behavioral health setting. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy this role requires evaluating interpreting and verifying medication orders to ensure safe effective and accurate drug therapy. The pharmacist participates in interdisciplinary care teams manages drug therapy protocols and provides drug information and education to healthcare providers patients and pharmacy students. This position involves documenting clinical interventions contributing to quality improvement efforts and utilizing automated dispensing systems such as Omnicell or Pyxis. Candidates must hold a valid MA pharmacy license and possess strong critical thinking skills sound clinical judgment and the ability to communicate effectively with nursing staff and prescribers.

Bachelors Degree Required; Doctoral Degree Preferred
Pharmacy License in the state of MA
Hospital experience preferred

We provide evidence-based mental health care including programs for child/adolescent adult and geriatric populations. Our treatment is built on a psychosocial model of care and follows the core principles of resilience recovery and restoration.
Hourly range: $55 - $60 per hour
