IT Operations Analyst I
About the Role:
The IT Operations Analyst is responsible for monitoring maintaining and improving the day-to-day performance of IT systems and services. This role ensures stability availability and security of applications servers networks and infrastructure to support business operations. The analyst also investigates issues coordinates with internal teams and vendors and contributes to process improvements and automation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor system performance availability and capacity across applications servers and networks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents escalating as necessary to specialized support teams.
- Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions.
- Maintain system documentation operational procedures and configuration records.
- Support patching upgrades and routine maintenance activities with minimal downtime.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies security standards and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with business units and IT teams to define requirements and implement solutions.
- Assist in disaster recovery planning testing and execution.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
- Provide end-user support for escalated technical issues when required.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 25 years of experience in IT operations systems administration or technical support.
- Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux) databases and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk SolarWinds Nagios or similar).
- Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks such as ITIL.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) is a plus.
- Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Scripting or automation skills (PowerShell Python Bash).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware Hyper-V).
- Exposure to enterprise applications ERP systems or middleware.
- Understanding of cybersecurity practices and incident response.

For this position actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location experience and addition to base pay this position based on business need may be eligible for a bonus or addition Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage voluntary dental and vision programs life and disability insurance a retirement savings plan paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $54901 - $71300
