NEW Water Wastewater Treatment Operator II Are you ready to dive into the world of wastewater treatment This position is designed to help you develop the essential skills and knowledge needed to operate all treatment processes and associated equipment across both NEW Water facilities. Youll gain hands-on experience by assisting Operator IIIs with daily operations learning the entire treatment lifecycle from influent to clean water discharge. Your work will involve troubleshooting equipment optimizing performance record-keeping and vital lab sampling often requiring coordination with other departments. Youll also play a key role in data collection for performance reports that guide decisions for our team and external consultants. This is an excellent opportunity to prepare for advancement to an Operator III fully trained operator position at NEW Water. - Completion of the Wisconsin Wastewater Operators State Apprenticeship. Program may substitute for the associates degree. Internship in a related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education training and relevant experience will also be considered.
Compensation: - Hiring Hourly Rate Range: $26.65 - $31.32
- Pay Grade Hourly Rate Range: $26.65 - $37.62
- Shift Premium (7:00pm-7:00am): $3.53/hour
- Milestone Based Pay Progression Based on Training Progress
