Job Description
Day to Day:
- Prepare technical drawings or blueprints of component and assembly designs according to company standards.
- Responsible for storing and maintaining electronic drawings models revisions and meta-data in the engineering Product Data Management database.
- Responsible for understanding and translating information provided by engineers such as part tolerances geometric tolerances critical dimensions and cosmetic and finishing standards.
- Acquire third-party supplier models and drawings for incorporation into assemblies and Bills-Of-Material.
- Draft Engineering Changes and working with colleagues to release to production.
- Use CAD and preferably SolidWorks to successfully produce technical drawings and blueprints.
Requirements
- Preferably 4 years of SolidWorks Drafting Experience
- Ideal Candidates will have worked in a Manufacturing Environment and preferably from the Aerospace or Military Industries
