Sales Position in Raleigh NC 27617

Position Summary

The role of a Sales Representative involves initiating sales estimates and cultivating meaningful relationships with customers to establish trust and loyalty. The representative is tasked with maintaining transparent communication about costs timelines and follow-ups to enhance residential and commercial service revenue and maximize sales opportunities. Continuous efforts to enhance sales skills are crucial for increasing individual success rates in sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare repair estimates.
  • Assist technicians in creating and pricing estimates for repairs.
  • Review and discuss estimates with customers either during or after service calls.
  • Daily follow-up on open estimates.
  • Order parts as needed for jobs sold.
  • Attend to residential or commercial service calls by answering the phone after the 3rd ring.
  • Work with internal resources to schedule any needed departments to fullfill customers needs.
  • Effectively communicate and sell open repairs to customers.
  • Identify and secure sales opportunities.
  • Promote and sell maintenance memberships.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge Skills and Abilities):

  • High School Diploma or general education degree is required.
  • Customer service experience is required.
  • Knowledge of HVAC industry preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with department managers employees and company customers.
  • Ability to set expectations with customers and keep them apprised to the company schedule and lead time.
  • Ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills.
  • Good knowledge base of our service area or must have the ability to read a map.
