Are you ready to lead a high-impact global team and shape the future of cost engineering Were looking for a dynamic Should Cost Manager to spearhead strategic initiatives optimize processes and deliver real value across our organization.
As the Global Leader of the Should Cost Team youll be at the forefront of innovationdriving collaboration across functions enhancing cost modeling tools and influencing key business decisions. From software upgrades to launching new cost initiatives your expertise will help us stay ahead of the curve.
What Youll Do:
Lead & Inspire:
- Manage and mentor a global team of cost experts.
- Oversee dashboards scorecards and service quality metrics.
- Drive career development training and workload balancing.
Strategic Execution:
- Ensure Should Cost coverage across sourcing and product qualification phases.
- Set cost targets and support supplier negotiations with robust cost models.
- Analyze market and component costs to shape short- and mid-term strategies.
Innovate & Optimize:
- Lead process simplification centralization and standardization.
- Implement cutting-edge tools like EasyKost Light Bid and Machining Cycle Time Calculator.
- Develop models for new technologies suppliers and components.
Build Expertise:
- Master key cost engineering domains (casting machining stamping injection molding).
- Champion software transformations and roadmap execution.
- Ensure technical excellence and support new hiring initiatives.
What We Need:
- Experience: 5 years experience in Automotive - Should Cost. Deep experience in manufacturing process purchasing or supplier quality management (ideally casting machining grinding stamping assembly) or product development (automotive industry preferred)
- Education: Bachelors degree in engineering
- Language: English
