Job Description
Full-time contract basis
Location: Remote ; U.S. business hours (9 AM 5 PM Central Time)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accountant (Contract) to provide critical accounting support on a temporary basis. This role will primarily focus on accounts receivable activities to help our accounting team clear a significant backlog and improve efficiency. The ideal candidate will have 2 4 years of accounting experience and a strong background in accounts receivable and collections. This position is ideal for someone who is a fast learner can handle repetitive tasks with accuracy and is also capable of stepping up for complex deadline-driven responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities

Create and send customer invoices using Sage Intacct ERP system

Apply customer payments and manage accounts receivable collections

Coordinate with an external paddle testing company to track payments and release testing

Assist with general accounting tasks such as journal entries and reconciliations

Support the Accounting Manager with ad-hoc projects including revenue recognition tasks
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timeliness of accounting processes
- Regularly follow up on outstanding invoices and participate in A/R meeting updating on the status of payment
Requirements

2 4 years of experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role

Proven experience in accounts receivable and collections

Proficiency with ERP systems (Sage Intacct strongly preferred but not required)
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

CPA or equivalent accounting certification preferred but not required

Fluent in English with the ability to work U.S. business hours (9 AM 5 PM Central Time)
