Job Description
Location: Marble Falls TX 78654
Shift: 12-hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: (Negotiable based on experience)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients and prioritize care based on clinical need.
- Develop implement and regularly update personalized care plans to achieve desired health outcomes.
- Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families emphasizing empathy professionalism and respect.
- Educate patients families nurses and community members to promote informed healthcare decisions.
- Assess and document educational needs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues and community partners to coordinate care.
- Delegate tasks appropriately and follow up to ensure completion and quality.
- Use critical thinking and various problem-solving strategies to address patient and system issues.
- Promote patient safety and deliver efficient effective care within established protocols.
- Demonstrate commitment to professional development team collaboration and community service.
- Strong knowledge of nursing standards hospital procedures and patient care practices.
- Proficient in disease prevention health promotion and pharmacology (including common medications and side effects).
- Understanding of nursing laws ethical standards and patient rights.
- Excellent communication skills-both verbal and written.
- Effective interpersonal skills for collaboration with a diverse patient population and healthcare team.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency including use of:
- Microsoft Office
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Email scheduling and payroll systems
- Information security practices
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
- Active RN license (Texas state)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required or must obtain within 30 days of hire)
