Job Description
Vascular Ultrasound Tech (Night Shift)
Location: Utica NY 13502
Duration: 13 week
Schedule: Monday Friday 08:00 AM 04:00 PM (8-hour day shifts)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $2400 - $2600; Depending on experience (negotiable)
- Perform non-invasive vascular ultrasound procedures including arterial venous and carotid duplex studies.
- Operate ultrasound equipment and capture quality diagnostic images.
- Analyze results and provide preliminary technical findings to interpreting physicians.
- Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC EMR system.
- Follow safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.
- Certification:
- RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) Required
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
- Experience:
- 2 3 years of vascular ultrasound experience Preferred
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using EPIC electronic medical record system Required
