Job Summary

Job Summary:

This position is for a CT Technologist in an acute care hospital setting. The technologist will perform computed tomography (CT) scans adhering to established protocols and maintaining a high standard of patient care. The role requires proficiency in operating CT equipment interacting effectively with patients and healthcare professionals and maintaining accurate records. Floating to other facilities within the same hospital system may be required.
Location: Mission Viejo California United States.
Responsibilities:
- Performing CT scans according to established protocols.
- Preparing patients for scans explaining the procedure and ensuring their comfort.
- Operating and maintaining CT equipment performing quality control checks.
- Processing and reviewing CT images for quality assurance.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Adhering to radiation safety protocols.
- May be required to float to other facilities within the hospital system.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current California state license.
- ARRT certification.
- BLS certification.
- Fluoroscopy Permit.
- Minimum of one year of experience (first-timers accepted).

- None specified.

Special Considerations:
- No on-call requirements.
- Rotating weekends.
- Shift start times: 7 am 8 am 12 pm 3 pm.
- Block scheduling may be possible at the managers discretion.
- Floating to Providence Mission Laguna may be required.
- Free parking provided.
