Job Description
Location : AUSTIN TX ONSITE 4X/WEEK (MUST BE LOCAL)
Required Skills :
- Deep expertise in BigQuery including building data pipelines and writing SQL and Python for stored procedures.
- Experience with data governance PII protection and implementing privacy controls; DLP experience is a nice-to-have but not required.
- Must be local to Austin and able to work onsite four days a week.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform especially BigQuery and Cloud Composer.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and scripting.
- Experience with Airflow DAGs and orchestration.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g. Git).
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and performance optimization.
- Experience with other GCP services like Dataflow Pub/Sub Cloud Storage
- Knowledge of data governance security and compliance practices.
- Experience in Agile development environments.
