Job Description
DIVIETO Ristorante Group is an award-winning hospitality brand known for its authentic Italian cuisine world-class dining experience and innovative guest engagement. As we expand our operations and integrate cutting-edge technology into our restaurant ecosystem we seek a highly skilled Solutions Architect to design implement and oversee the technology infrastructure that supports our operations guest services and corporate initiatives.
Position Summary
The Solutions Architect will be responsible for developing end-to-end technology solutions that align with DIVIETOs business goals. This role involves collaborating with leadership developers and vendors to ensure that software hardware and cloud-based solutions are secure scalable and efficient. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant or hospitality technology systems cloud architecture and enterprise integrations.
This is a remote position; however candidates must live in the United States and possess a valid U.S. government-issued ID for employment verification.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture
Develop technical architecture strategies to support restaurant operations POS systems reservations online ordering loyalty programs and back-office systems.
Design scalable cloud and hybrid solutions using platforms like AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution blueprints.
Systems Integration
Oversee integration of front-of-house and back-of-house systems (POS inventory accounting HR platforms).
Implement API-based integrations between internal and third-party applications.
Project Leadership
Lead cross-functional technical projects from concept to deployment.
Provide guidance to developers IT teams and external vendors.
Establish best practices for development testing and deployment processes.
Security & Compliance
Ensure all solutions meet PCI DSS data privacy laws and other applicable regulations.
Implement robust cybersecurity practices to protect guest and company data.
Performance & Scalability
Evaluate and recommend hardware software and infrastructure upgrades.
Conduct system performance assessments and troubleshoot technical issues.
Stakeholder Communication
Present technical concepts in clear business-friendly language to executives and non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborate with marketing operations and finance teams to ensure technology meets operational needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required:
Must reside in the United States.
Must possess a valid U.S. government-issued ID for employment eligibility verification.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent work experience).
5 years of experience as a Solutions Architect Systems Engineer or similar role.
Strong experience with cloud architecture (AWS Azure or Google Cloud).
Solid understanding of API integrations microservices and database systems (SQL & NoSQL).
Experience in restaurant hospitality or retail technology systems (POS ERP CRM online ordering platforms).
Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (PCI DSS GDPR CCPA).
Excellent communication documentation and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
Experience with mobile app integrations for customer engagement.
Familiarity with digital menu boards kiosks and contactless payment technologies.
Agile/Scrum project management experience.
Vendor and contract negotiation experience.
