Job Description
Objective:
As an Automotive Buyer you will source used-vehicle inventory through our online purchasing process in a team-based environment. This position requires working well in a fast-paced environment and being an effective communicator.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Source used-car inventory through our state-of-the-art online purchasing process
- Understand and estimate reconditioning and transportation costs
- Make financially sound purchasing decisions for the company
- Research and analyze vehicle inventory and market trends
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of the retail and wholesale automobile sales processes
- Excellent analytical and valuation skills with a strong process orientation
- Prior automotive purchasing experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills and have a learner mindset for continual development
- Clean motor vehicle and criminal background records
