Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the mechanical construction activities of a Central Energy Plant and associated utility systems.
Coordinate with EPC contractors vendors and engineering teams to ensure compliance with project specifications and schedules.
Review mechanical design drawings specifications and submittals for accuracy and constructability.
Monitor field installations and perform inspections to ensure adherence to industry standards safety regulations and project requirements.
Support commissioning and start-up of mechanical systems including chillers boilers pumps cooling towers and piping networks.
Participate in site meetings and provide technical input to resolve construction issues and design conflicts.
Ensure documentation of mechanical work progress quality control reports and punch list items.
Work with project management to track schedule budget and manpower requirements.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical construction engineering with at least 2 years specific to Central Energy Plant or utility plant construction.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems chilled water and steam distribution and utility piping.
Experience working on large industrial or institutional projects is a plus.
Strong communication coordination and problem-solving skills.
