The ideal candidate for the Territory Specialist role is excited about working directly with our Regional Managers to assist in cultivating relationships with all the school districts and educational programs within the growing region. The right candidate has an outgoing personality and thrives on working in a collaborative environment. Strong communication skills will be needed as this role spends most of the day in the field building lasting customer relationships participating in sales blitzes providing customer delivery support and conducting product presentations. A day on the job looks like this:
- Responsible for setting up confirmed customer appointments along with making in-person cold calls by targeting key customers and begin to assess and uncover customer needs
- Consistently calling on building and maintaining relationships with customers within assigned territory to secure new and repeat business within a designated geographical area.
- Responsible for timely follow up and management of all leads (RSM/HQ/SFDC) and site-based leads for continued revenue growth in territory
- Partnering with internal & external sales resources to support needs and increase business
- Communicating respectfully effectively concisely and with clarity to all inside partners in regular meetings with a variety of internal HQ departments and sales channels to streamline communication build relationships and increase sales.
- Responsible for logging sales activity funnel management meeting activity expectations as well as coordination with SSS and RSMs
- Participate in local state and national conferences sales/marketing blitzes support sales partnerships as well as go-back support and proposals room design to promote the Lakeshore brand
- Reporting to the Regional Vice President
Qualifications :
Got the skills and experience Heres what were looking for:
- 3 years of successful sales support experience and proven entrepreneurial know-how
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Prior experience with a CRM (Salesforce) or similar experience
- Solid presentation skills and the ability to speak to customer needs at all levels (teachers administrators directors and other officials)
- Strong work ethic team player mentality and the ability to perform outstanding work from home
- Ability to travel as needed with overnight stays 75% time across region with 4 days in field
- Will spend 90% time in field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
- Top-notch written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent administrative organizational and time management skills
- Great attention to detail
- Candidates must reside in/near (Greater San Antonio/Austin markets)
