Process Development & Optimization
- Design implement and improve manufacturing processes for HVAC components and systems.
- Optimize production workflows reduce waste and enhance efficiency using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Develop and update work instructions work sequence cards and process documentation.
Project Management
- Lead or support capital projects equipment installation acquisition and production line modifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design Engineering Quality Assembly) for product launches engineering changes to ensure seamless manufacturing operations.
- Manage timelines resources and budgets for projects.
- Lead projects to improve cost quality delivery and safety of manufacturing processes
Continuous Improvement
- Drive cost reduction cycle time improvements and throughput enhancements.
- Analyze production metrics and root cause manufacturing issues to implement corrective actions.
- Conduct time studies line balancing and ergonomic assessments.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing strategies for equipment workplace layouts labor and material flow to meet strategic goals.
- Develop new or improving existing manufacturing processes in areas such as: Assembly Sheet-metal Cooper depot E-box.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure manufacturing processes meet safety quality and regulatory standards.
- Partner with Quality Assurance to resolve non-conformances and implement robust control plans.
- Support audits and compliance with ISO and other relevant standards.
Technical Support
- Provide hands-on support to production teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
- Evaluate and recommend tooling fixtures and equipment upgrades.
SKILLS:
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes equipment and quality control principles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing resource planning.
Qualifications :
- BS degree in an Engineering field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role preferably in a senior or leadership position.
- Proven track record of implementing process improvement initiatives and driving operational excellence.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing principles practices and standards.
