Job Description
Dietary Aide-Food & Nutrition-Part Time-Day-Mount Sinai Queens
Prepare and serve patient food trays. Handles food production and preparing for special functions. Handles dishwashing and sanitation
Responsibilities
- Portions out and plates food truck and serves
- Heats patient food transport food truck and serves meals to patients
- Prepares sandwiches for cafeteria and special functions
- Registers customer orders & transacts with money Accountable for over/under of register
- Wipes down tables chairs tray line counters shelves
- Prepares salad for the salad bar wraps cakes and pastries
- Sets up the counter for breakfast and lunch. Serves breakfast and lunch
- Serve and replenish hot and cold food in cafeteria
- Assist in the preparation of special functions
- Sets up and washes all pots pans empties garbage cans
- Keeps the floor and sinks clean empties garbage cans
- Rotates label dates and puts deliveries away
Qualifications
- Education: High School or GED
- Experience: Food handling experience preferred
