Job Title: Sr. Commercial Concrete Estimator

NARIK CONSULTING LLC is representing a leading construction company specializing in commercial concrete projects. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Commercial Concrete Estimator to join our team. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
As a Sr. Commercial Concrete Estimator you will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost of commercial concrete projects from concept to completion. You will work closely with project managers engineers and clients to ensure that all estimates are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project plans specifications and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial concrete projects.
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary information and assess project scope.
- Analyze project requirements and identify potential cost-saving measures.
- Collaborate with project managers engineers and subcontractors to determine labor material and equipment costs.
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and estimates for all aspects of the project including labor materials equipment and overhead.
- Review and negotiate subcontractor bids to ensure competitive pricing.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all estimates and bid submissions.
- Continuously monitor and update project costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings with clients and project team members.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends regulations and best practices to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial concrete estimating.
- Extensive knowledge of construction materials methods and techniques.
- Proficient in construction estimating software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
