Job Description
This is a remote position.
Purpose: The position s primary responsibility is to create detailed technical drawings for buildings using computer-aided design (CAD) software like AutoCAD. This highly-trained draftsman will work with architects and engineers to design and create 2D computer models of buildings from blueprints or from scratch.

Job Qualifications: Must have a minimum of 6-7 years experience as an AutoCAD Drafter and Structural Designer Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering Strong analytical and mathematical skills: are essential for load calculations and structural analysis. Proficiency in CAD software: for creating and modifying designs. Excellent problem-solving skills: to address design challenges and construction issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills: for collaborating with various stakeholders. Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations . Experience in project management: is often required for senior roles. Experience in working for an Australian business is preferred but not required Familiar with steel and timber framing, and concrete design.
