As part of our continued growth we are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our in-house design team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of high-end residential projects from concept design through to construction documentation.

What Youll Do:
You ll be the kind of person who:
  • Create detailed structural designs for timber framing wall bracing tie-downs and structural steel across residential and commercial projects.
  • Provide engineering solutions for swimming pools tilt panels steel structures alfresco areas patios and other custom outdoor features.
  • Apply civil engineering expertise within the Australian construction context with a focus on Queensland compliance.
  • Use AutoCAD and Revit and other industry tools to produce high-quality engineering documentation.
  • Conduct design checks structural analysis and audits to ensure compliance with Australian Standards and local council requirements.
  • Review and interpret architectural drawings to ensure structural integrity and construct ability.
  • Liaise with clients interpret their needs and deliver practical timely engineering solutions.
  • Support the preparation of fee proposals project quotes and scope documentation


Requirements

What You Bring
We re looking for someone who:
  • Bachelor s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years experience in structural design preferably within Australian residential and light commercial construction.
  • Knowledge of Australian Standards Building Regulations and relevant codes will be highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential) with working knowledge of Revit and structural analysis software such as ETABS SAP2000 and Stack CAD
  • Experience in swimming pool steel structure and tilt panel design is highly regarded.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a practical solution-focused mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with SharePoint Dataverse and other Microsoft 365 services.
