As part of our continued growth we are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our in-house design team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of high-end residential projects from concept design through to construction documentation.

What Youll Do:

You ll be the kind of person who:

Create detailed structural designs for timber framing wall bracing tie-downs and structural steel across residential and commercial projects.
Provide engineering solutions for swimming pools tilt panels steel structures alfresco areas patios and other custom outdoor features.
Apply civil engineering expertise within the Australian construction context with a focus on Queensland compliance.
Use AutoCAD and Revit and other industry tools to produce high-quality engineering documentation.
Conduct design checks structural analysis and audits to ensure compliance with Australian Standards and local council requirements.
Review and interpret architectural drawings to ensure structural integrity and construct ability.
Liaise with clients interpret their needs and deliver practical timely engineering solutions.
Support the preparation of fee proposals project quotes and scope documentation

Requirements

What You Bring

We re looking for someone who:

Bachelor s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years experience in structural design preferably within Australian residential and light commercial construction.
Knowledge of Australian Standards Building Regulations and relevant codes will be highly regarded.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential) with working knowledge of Revit and structural analysis software such as ETABS SAP2000 and Stack CAD
Experience in swimming pool steel structure and tilt panel design is highly regarded.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a practical solution-focused mindset.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with SharePoint Dataverse and other Microsoft 365 services.
