Their core team core team consists of Senior Fuels Consultants Construction Managers Quality Control Managers and Project Engineers that have been in the fuels industry a combined 50 years. They work as a team to review every project to provide you with the best solutions within our expertise. Their vision is to fill the gap within Japan and the Pacific fuels construction industry between large Oil Companies/US military and the Prime Contractor companies who have the capability to bid and win construction contracts.
JOB DESCRIPTION AS A BOOKKEEPER:
Your Responsibilities as a Bookkeeper:
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger entries. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records. Manage receipts Manage accounts receivables and payable Utilise Xero for bookkeeping and financial management tasks Prepare payroll processing and compliance Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues. Ensure compliance with Australian tax laws and regulations Conduct month-end and year-end close processes Utilise practice management software to update daily tasks
Assist with ad-hoc tasks as needed: o Prepare and send engagement letters o Documenting processes o Managing calendar bookings o Email management etc
Qualifications as a Bookkeeper
Graduate of any 4-year course Must have atleast 3 years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper in supporting international clients (APAC AU US etc). Experience with working in similar industry(construction) or trades businesses is a plus Proficiency in Xero accounting software and other similar accounting systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with advanced MS Excel knowledge (familiarity with formulas VLOOKUPs and pivot tables). Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Certification in bookkeeping or accounting (e.g. BAS Agent certification) is a plus.
