Job Description
This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities
Edit long-form teaching videos into multiple formats: 5-minute YouTube highlights 20-minute educational pieces and 6 10 short-form social media videos
Enhance content with professional typography music and production elements while preserving the integrity of the teachings
Create compelling reels and shorts optimized for TikTok Instagram and other platforms
Catalog tag and organize extensive video archives for easier access and reuse
Upload final videos to YouTube with optimized SEO (titles descriptions tags thumbnails)
Identify the most compelling moments in existing footage and repurpose them for different audiences
Collaborate with the team on content strategy to maximize impact and audience engagement
Requirements
Proven professional video editing experience with a portfolio showcasing educational inspirational or spiritual content
Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere Final Cut Pro DaVinci Resolve or similar)
Strong understanding of social media video formats and best practices across platforms
Experience in YouTube optimization including SEO audience retention and engagement strategies
Ability to manage and organize large video files and content libraries
Creative eye for storytelling with the ability to highlight compelling moments from long-form footage
Experience editing spiritual educational or inspirational content is strongly preferred
