Scope
Direct collaboration with Melbourne studio team and creative leads
Long-term commitment (minimum 12 months)
Folio submission required applicants must provide recent examples of design work
Trial artwork submission required during selection process
Responsibilities
Create and adapt designs across POS print digital and social platforms
Produce high-quality finished art for press digital and social outputs
Perform advanced retouching for campaign imagery
Prepare press-ready and platform-specific exports
Develop distinctive brand assets and campaign visuals that are on-brief and creatively original
Go beyond the brief to add value to client objectives
Collaborate closely with creative production and account leads on fast-paced campaigns
Contribute conceptually to design and idea generation not just execution
Lead and mentor junior designers when applicable
Leverage automation tools templates and workflows for high-volume rollouts
Suggest and implement AI tools and process improvements to drive efficiency
Maintain brand standards with consistency across formats and markets
Ensure work is world-class user-friendly and aligned with business and consumer needs
Requirements
3 5 years experience in an agency or high-volume design environment
Strong portfolio showcasing work for major brands across digital and print
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign) and Figma
Skilled in retouching and finished art preparation
Familiarity with automation scripts asset management and AI design workflows
Strong understanding of digital-first design principles across mobile web and social
Excellent attention to detail with ability to deliver to tight deadlines
Strong communication and collaboration skills for remote teamwork
