• Have 3 years of professional experience with a modern programming language with a strong preference for Python.
• Possess experience working with Linux or Unix systems
• Demonstrate a strong interest in Python and open-source technologies
• Are able to learn on the job and show an aptitude for solving complex technical problems

• Solid experience with relational databases
• Experience working in a highly technical environment and solving complex problems
• Familiarity with microservices architecture RESTful APIs message brokers (e.g. RabbitMQ) and NoSQL datastores (e.g. MongoDB)
• Experience developing applications using non-blocking I/O (event loops)
• Proficiency in Python particularly with the Tornado framework
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Previous commercial experience in the gambling or sports betting sector
• A demonstrated passion for programming reflected through a blog portfolio GitHub Bitbucket profile or personal website
